Capstan electric winches offer excellent assistance, especially in strong offshore winds. They are suitable as mooring winches for mounting at the stern of boats with lengths of 8 – 32 m.
Capstan electric winches are normally mounted at the stern of the boat and are used as mooring winches. Especially for larger and high-sided yachts, these winches are a great help in offshore winds. Construction and design are identical to vertical anchor windlasses. The drums have a special groove for better hold. Rotates in both directions.
The winches are available for boats from 8 – 32 m (500 – 2700 watt motor power). The electric winches are made of chromed bronze, the T1700 version is also available in aluminium. The capstan head and base plate for the other models are also available in aluminium on request.
